Hair removal is effective on almost every skin type. During laser hair removal, light passes through the skin and is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft. The absorption raises the temperature of the hair follicle and thermally destroys the cells responsible for regrowth. The wavelength, pulse duration and power of the light ensure damage to these cells and do not affect the rest of the skin. Once the hair follicle has been destroyed, it will take up to a few weeks before the hair is completely gone from the follicle. 

We suggest to schedule facial treatments 4-6 weeks apart and body treatments 5-7 weeks apart to achieve the best permanent hair reduction results. It will take 6+ treatments (on average) for permanent hair removal. Depending on the treatment area, a session of laser hair removal can take as little as a few minutes, and up to an hour or more. Already after the 2nd session, the hair in the treated area will appear finer and lighter.
