The Alma HarmonyXL laser will remove unwanted tattoos with little discomfort and downtime. A customized treatment hand piece allows the laser to incorporate two different wavelengths to remove a wide range of colored tattoos. Tattoo ink and natural pigmentation absorb short pulse duration ~ high peak energy pulses, creating a photo-acoustic effect within the pigment clusters. This breaks down the ink into smaller particles that can be easily removed by the body’s natural filtering system. Numbing cream can be applied approximately 20 minutes before the treatment. Tattoo removal requires on average 6+ treatments, approximately 4-8 weeks apart.
